Sustainable, bio-based building applications

Since 01/01/2023, there are standards to allow bio-based products to be used in construction. Since 2024, there has also been more clarity regarding LCA (Life Circle Analysis) and Cradle to Cradle.

Greenager+ is therefore now fully committed to sustainable bio-based building systems, CO2 and nitrogen negative. Both floors, roofs and walls and both for new construction and renovation and modular building systems.

Ongoing research projects

  • Insulation: fibers of miscanthus, bonded with bio glue
  • Screed: slag sand screed, low co2 bonded with residual stainless steel flow
  • Floor tile: composite of miscanthus and hemp
  • Insulation: hemp fibers, bonded with lime binder as flux mortar
  • Screed: street sweepings, sewage sludge, dredging and crushing sand bound with lime binder
  • Floor tile: composite of brown and white eggshells
  • Insulation: fibers from kiri wood (Anna Paulownia or the fastest growing tree in the world, which absorbs maximum CO2) bonded with bio glue
  • Screed : flowing mortar from residues, bound with lime
  • Floor finish : cranberry wood laminate

Together with its Dutch partner WeLL Design, we are working on a modular building system of kiri wood and miscanthus insulation and/or cellulose of miscanthus.

We can flow, blow and glue, press, froth and make composite with all bio fibers.

We talk directly to the main agricultural chains.

We talk directly to potential manufacturers and processors.
