Greenager +, as its name suggests, is concerned with the climate. In this regard, we are active in the construction industry and are committed to making building products and construction techniques more sustainable. Greenager + itself does not sell these products. We develop these on behalf of producers and\/or processors.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The innovation driver behind Greenager+ is Johan Strackx, with more than 40 years of experience in concrete and insulating concrete. About ten years ago, we started focusing on climate friendliness and working comfort. Initially on thermal insulating mortars, later on acoustic and fireproof insulation, wall insulation, screeds and flow mortars. More and more focus was placed on circularity, phasing out CO2 emissions and eliminating cement.<\/p>\n

Insulating mortars<\/h4>\n

Underlying the success of Greenager+ are the developments of thermally insulating EPS mortars. The advantage of our mortars is that they contain very little binder which allows them to be recycled.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

This insulation is seamless: utility lines can be collapsed with it, it is fireproof and also scores particularly well acoustically. Underfloor heating can be easily bonded into the insulation layer. Currently, these mortars are among the most widely used form of floor insulation in Belgium.<\/p>\n

We also make these insulating mortars with climate-friendly binders such as lime, biopolymer and bioglue, and we can replace the eps with perlite, vermiculite, cork, recycle cork, hemp and biofoam.<\/p>\n

Decking floors<\/h4>\n

Greenager+ is also developing climate-friendly screeds. As a binder, we no longer use cement, but lime. We no longer use new sand as filler, but recycled materials (crushing sand, dredging sand, sewage sludge and\/or slag sand. Among other things, we are installing the floor in the currently most circular building in Europe built at Kamp C in Westerlo (Belgium).<\/p>\n

Fleece mortars<\/h4>\n

Flux mortars lend themselves particularly well to giving residual and by-product streams a second life as fillers. Particularly fines contribute to improving compressive and flexural strength as well as better heat absorption, making this type of flooring energy-saving.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

We are now making this kind of flooring with lime.<\/p>\n

Foam concrete
We also use our experience to optimize foam concrete into full-fledged insulation. We are currently achieving an insulation value of 0.079 BCRG recognized allowing the foam concrete to be used as full-fledged insulation for crawl spaces, intermediate floors and under industrial floors, and are finalizing an improved version (+\/- 0.060).<\/p>\n
